HTC M8 vs Samsung Galaxy S5:
DISPLAY: HTC M8 will feature a larger 5-inch 1080p display. Galaxy S5 will have a large foldable screen display with resolution 2560 X 1440 and a high pixel density. Galaxy S5 definitely has created a hype about its display, with the previous Galaxy S4 version doing well as far as display is concerned.
PROCESSOR: According to some reports about Galaxy S5, the device will be powered with an Exynos 64-bit processor and have about 3GB or 4GB of RAM. We all know how well iPhone 5S performed with a 64-bit processor. Galaxy S5 with such amazing performance ability might just be the phone to watch out for next year. HTC M8 on the other hand will feature a 64-bit Snapdragon 800 processor with 3GB of RAM.
SOFTWARE: Not much has been heard about the software on Galaxy S5. HTC M8 will be run by the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It is expected that S5 will join the bandwagon and feature Android 4.4 KitKat OS, with improved gesture controls and unlocking features.
HANDSET: If some rumors are to be believed, the Galaxy S5 will do away with the traditional plastic body and have a metallic body this time around. Some other rumors state it may feature a faux plastic design. HTC M8 is a metal body with a typical handset design. Galaxy S5 will have a much talked about curved three-sided display, that has caught the attention of many Android aficionados.
Galaxy S5 wins anyday over HTC M8. Unless HTC does something serious about their innovations, no prize for guessing who is the winner here.
